Alloya Corporate FCU has announced that its 2020 Credit Union Executive Leadership Symposium, slated for Sept. 10-11, will be held virtually.
“It was a bittersweet but necessary decision to present our annual Leadership Symposium virtually this year,” said Tim Bruculere, Alloya’s SVP of membership. “We all look forward to gathering for this event each September, but COVID-19 presented us with the unique opportunity to create a virtual, more accessible rendition of our Symposium.”
Although credit union executives from across the nation will not be gathering in Chicago for Alloya’s sixth annual symposium, the corporate said it looks forward to hosting the event online and providing the “same great education” to credit union leaders – free of charge this year.
The event will include two half-days of online education, beginning Thursday, Sept. 10 at 9:30 a.m. with additional sessions planned for Friday, Sept. 11, at 10 a.m.
Agenda highlights include keynote speaker Ginger Hardage, founder of Unstoppable Cultures and a former SVP of culture and communications at Southwest Airlines; Lee Rubin, former captain of the Penn State football team; and a live panel discussion, “The Aftermath for Credit Unions: COVID-19 and the Presidential Election.”
