The Credit Unions for Kids Outstanding Achievement Award is the highest individual honor that can be bestowed upon a credit union in Nebraska in recognition of their involvement in Credit Unions for Kids fundraising.
This year’s winner, Hastings FCU, has continued to be an outstanding champion for Credit Unions for Kids throughout the years. In 2020 they raised $4900 for CU4Kids. They have sold chocolate bars, cookbooks, rubber duckies and plush animals in their branch. They’ve held bake sales, put out coin canisters, put together homemade candy bouquets for Valentines Day. Their employees donate to have Jeans Days and they also sold books and then donated them to the local community. They continue to promote fundraising for CU4kids in their branch with posters and flyers and also on their website.
