Centris Federal Credit Union is excited to announce a new multi-year sponsorship agreement with Elkhorn Athletic Association (EAA). Centris Federal Credit Union has exclusive naming rights to a multipurpose synthetic turf field at the MD ONE Sports Complex located on 142 acres of land in Valley, located near 264th and Ida St.
“We are proud of our tradition of supporting athletics in the communities we serve. From baseball to soccer, Centris has been a sponsor of youth and pro teams”, said Steve Swanstrom, Centris President/CEO. Centris has been a continuous Premier Partner of the Omaha Storm Chasers baseball team and Union Omaha soccer team at Werner Park since the stadium was built and opened. “Our partnership with EAA allows us to continue our commitment to youth sports, helping to create a well-designed regional destination for tournaments and regular season play. Our investment in partnerships like this ensure that sporting for all continues to be available now and into the future.”
The state-of-the-art complex will be a signature destination facility for outdoor youth athletics and community recreation, not just for Western Douglas County residents, but for the entire region. The MD West ONE Sports Complex will address a wide range of needs, including adaptive sports, recreational sports and competitive sports. Phase one is targeted for completion in the Spring of 2021.
The partnership between Centris and EAA is a five-year agreement. This partnership with Centris will be a great resource not only for EAA families, but also anyone who comes to play sports at the complex.
Centris Federal Credit Union, founded in 1934, is one of Nebraska’s largest federally chartered community credit unions. For more information, visit www.centrisfcu.org.
