The League, in collaboration with over 1,000 organizations, including 23 Nebraska Credit Unions, took to their social media channels in celebration of the third annual #ILoveMyCreditUnion social media blitz on July 28th. The campaign’s mission was to raise credit union awareness by encouraging authentic high-energy conversations across social media platforms. By tapping into the credit union principles of cooperation among cooperatives and concern for community, the campaign stays true to the people helping people mission.
With roots growing deeper into the credit union industry, the #ILoveMyCreditUnion day campaign saw 30,000 engagements reaching nine million people around the world. Credit unions remained energized by the collective and creative nature of the campaign.
Nebraska credit unions have a great story to tell, and the campaign creates an opportunity to share those stories collectively, which lengthens their reach and strengthens their impact. We are thrilled to celebrate this incredible collaborative success with everyone in the credit union movement and we are already looking forward to July 26, 2024, for the next #ILoveMyCrediUnion adventure and hope that you will join us!
