The League’s annual state conference, Jam the Unicam, will be held on Wednesday, January 31st at the Embassy Suites in Lincoln. The conference will begin with a luncheon sponsored by Centris Federal Credit Union featuring Governor Jim Pillen. Additional speakers will include State Senator George Dungan of Lincoln who will provide an update on the 108th Legislature; UNO Professor Randy Adkins who will speak about the 2024 Elections; Federal Reserve’s Lance Wagner who will speak about the Fed’s FedNow Payments System; Department of Banking Director Kelly Lammers who will provide a state regulatory update; and FHLBank of Topeka’s Tony Venditte and Ryan Gilliland will have a conversation about the Federal Housing Finance Agency’s “FHLBanks at 100” Report. Following the conference, the League will host a credit union reception sponsored by JacksonLewis with Nebraska State Senators at Billy’s Restaurant in Lincoln.
