The Nebraska Credit Union League has partnered with CU Collaborate to strengthen a key advocacy tool known as Project Zip Code (PZC). PZC is a program that matches credit union members with their political districts such as state legislative or congressional district. “When Nebraska credit union advocates meet with state or federal lawmakers, it’s important that we are able to confidently quantify how many credit union members live in the district of the lawmaker we are visiting”, said Brandon Luetkenhaus, the League’s chief advocacy officer. He went on to say, “The greater number of credit unions that participate in Project Zip Code, the better we can quantify the number of credit union constituents in a specific district”.
With the help of CU Collaborate, PZC has been revamped to better streamline the process for credit unions to update their membership numbers in a safe, secure, and turnkey way. We hope that you will strongly consider helping us to make every Nebraska credit union member COUNT!
If you have any questions on PZC, please do not hesitate to contact us at the League or you can contact Ben Hering at CU Collaborate directly at bhering@cucollaborate.com.
